Today, April 13, 2009, my grandmother, Helen Esther Davies went to be with the Lord in Heaven. She was born on May 11, 1917. She was just one month from her 92nd Birthday. She was a wonderful grandma. My grandmother was married to my grandfather in 1938. She had three sons: Richard, Lew, and William. She had nine grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. She was a very fun-loving person. She loved to oil paint and entertain friends and family in her home. She was a wonderful cook and was always ready to whip up a big meal, anytime of the day or night. She was a the life of the party and loved loud boisterous games, (the game of choice: Pit ) and loads of fun at her house. She was the most wonderful grandmother that anyone could ever have. She was always the most caring, loving, complementary, and giving person. She was always wanting to make others feel good.

She will be missed, but we know she is in a better place.

Megan-

I am so sorry about the loss of your precious grandmother, however, after talking to you on Wednesday night, you seemed at peace with her passing onto heaven, her new home. On the selfish side, I missed you and PJ!! It feels as though I haven't seen you in months!! Your grandma lived a wonderfully blessed long life and I agree with Eliana -- you are so much like her! :) Love you!
